NEWS

Good news from the Province of Lesotho include among others the arrival of three Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate who came to work in the province. They are Fathers Valere Eko (Oblate Missionary from DRC), Mariyanayagam Rayappu (Oblate Missionary from Sri Lanka) and Pulchny Chris (Oblate Missionary from Canada.  That is good news indeed, we wish we can get more. Welcome, this is HOME brothers.

Again, we have seen with glory the ordinations of young Oblate priests since 2005 to 2007. Among them we can mention Frs. Andreas Moeti who was ordained by the Bishop of Qacha's Nek in 2005 and is now working as the member of Ventura Project team, Lesako Azael (RIP) ordained in 2005 by Archbishop of Maseru but also very unfortunately past away in 2006,  Lekhera Emmanuel who was also ordained in 2005 by the Bishop of Qacha's Nek and is now working in Pius XII college students' residence,  Pharoe Augustinus who was ordained by the Bishop of Bethlehem in 2005 and is now  ministering the Youth under the umbrella of the Archbishop of Maseru, Mosenye Vincent who was ordained in 2006 by the Bishop of Qacha's Nek and is now assigned to St. Francis Roman Catholic Mission still in the diocese of Qacha's Nek--his home diocese. Very late on April 21, 2007 we also saw the ordination of Fr. Terai Michael who was ordained by the Bishop of Mohale's Hoek and is working at Roma Parish in Roma Valley.

We are also looking forward the the ordinations of deacon-Brothers Bereng Clement and Paoane Joseph both Oblates from the diocese of Mohale's Hoek and the same Parish of Good Shepherd, Ha-Ts'epo. Not to forget the deaconate ordination of Brother Khoaele Patrick who was ordained in March 2007.

Really, we glorify God for His blessings to us with young people who are still willing to commit themselves to Him through our Province.
